Planted!

The 2014 Season has begun:

6/23/14
6/23/14

June has been very, very good to us.  The skies parted long enough for us to resume tilling on June 4th.  The sun and wind were with us all day and we only shut the tiller off once (to refuel).  By mid-morning of the 5th the tilling was finished and the rest of the club members were called in for shovel duty in order to raise the beds.  The garden was ready for planting on the morning of the 6th of June.  The tilling we did in May sped the process up by a couple of days, but it was still a hell of a lot of work done in 48 hours.  We're all still surprised it came together so quickly.  We're off to a very promising start.

The hard work is finished, now we weed, water and wait.

The raised beds are looking really good. The work you guys are putting in is brilliant. We wish we could be there to see it for real. Maybe soon if we're lucky. Love to all the gardeners. Marcus and Jules
