Kind of a late start this season, but as always, the weather eventually improved and the garden came to life. It was a rocky season to be honest, seemed like one thing after another. Water problems, predator problems, plant disease problems, bear problems and a rookie at the helm without the Garden Master to consult. A good way to learn to figure it out and shift for one's self though. The hardest part of gardening may well be all of the decisions. Learning to just give things a try and see what happens is difficult, especially when the lesson is that it wasn't a very good idea! But, that's what makes a garden, and a life.
