2019 Season: No Complaints
We were due for a good year, the past few years leading up to it (or was it the whole decade?) were often quite difficult, so it was time for a happier season. And we got one! The spring arrived early and remained gentle through March, which allowed for planting to begin at least a month earlier than usual. The disease and predator problems of previous years slowed way down, the bears stayed out of the garden, and the new crops we tried were quite successful.
