April was a busy month for us. Our Neighbors With Chainsaws let in quite a bit more daylight, and the weather improved enough that we began tilling on the 10th (which is the earliest it has ever taken place). Unfortunately, the rain returned before we could plant and despite our best efforts the 5 inches of Spring Showers we received has set us back about a month...if we're lucky. Enduring Nature's Caprice requires a strong philosophical grounding--and a fair amount of good Scotch.
